About Me

Biography

I grew up on the Northside of Dublin with my two parents, and one younger brother. My mother was born in Brazil so we would regularly travel back there to visit family. I love learning languages, I can speak Portuguese at a conversational level and have studied French for the leaving cert (although nowadays it needs some work). In school I had a keen interest in science, maths, and business, which meant that I struggled when it came to deciding on what subject to study in college. I ended up doing two years of physics in Trinity College, before switching to an engineering course instead. However, this still wasn’t leading me down a path that I felt was right for me so finally I made the decision to transfer to DCU and pursue a career in business. Within my first few months of studying finance and data analytics I knew that was what I wanted to do in my career, and with the help of DCU’s Intra program I’m happy to say that I recieved a graduate contract offer at a top private equity firm.
